The purpose of this letter is to take this opportunity to communicate my experiences during our Principal’s mentor training with Leader’s Edge. I must begin by telling you that I was not, at first, a very willing participant. I believe that I viewed this training as just another training that was required for us to attend and that “it would be over soon”. I did not expect to have a life changing experience, but I did. Leader’s Edge has been one of the three most significant experiences that I’ve had during the thirty years of my professional career. I will take these techniques with me for the rest of my life. Our trainer, Becky Robbins, was the consummate professional in guiding us through this experience and I would highly recommend her expertise and the program to anyone. Leader’s Edge was extremely significant to us, as school leaders; however I do believe that for me, its impact will be felt by everyone that I know.
Personally, I am a very materialistic individual and our trainer will probably tell you that I still am, however, she would also have to admit that after Leader’s Edge I have been energized and look eagerly toward making my life count.
